  I attended this church from age 11 until I was able to escape at age 16. Though I think they mean well, they're badly misguided. They proliferate this idea that the more money you give to the church, the more blessings god will give to you. I can count the times I heard "pressed down, shaken together, and running over." Or "if you're searching for healing, you have to sow." - All the while the Pastor was driving four different cars, living up on the ridge, and had people in his congregation that couldn't afford groceries. Not saying that they didn't help the destitute, on occasion, but their opulent lifestyles were not reflective of the life Jesus lived. They definitely are a good case for why churches should be taxed.
